We’re looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer who wants to improve how infrastructure works across several client and internal projects. You’ll join two Mid DevOps Engineers and the person currently leading the area. As you get to know the projects, you’ll take ownership of key technical work and help shape DevOps standards and technology choices.
There’s plenty to get involved in: production environments built with Linux, Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes and DigitalOcean; CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code; and DNS and security for more than 300 hosts in Cloudflare. Upcoming work includes improving Cloudflare WAF protections, automating processes related to ISO 27001, and assessing infrastructure changes and migrations.
What you’ll do
- Build, automate and maintain reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, security, backups and incident response.
- Review solutions for stability, cost and long-term maintainability.
- Work with engineers, developers, QA, Project Managers and clients to solve problems across projects.
- Share knowledge and help develop consistent technical standards.
What you’ll bring
You have strong Linux and production operations experience, know Docker and either Docker Swarm or Kubernetes, and have worked with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure. You can automate with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Bash or Python, troubleshoot networking issues, and explain your technical decisions clearly.
We value sound judgement over expertise in every tool we use. You’ll also need Polish and English for day-to-day project communication. Experience with high availability, infrastructure cost optimisation, security audits or MLOps is a plus.
Location and on-call
For your first two months, we’d prefer four days a week in our Łódź office so you can get to know the people, projects and infrastructure. If you can be there regularly but less often, tell us what’s possible. After onboarding, office visits will be less frequent and agreed around project needs.
You’ll join the weekly on-call rotation after onboarding. We use Better Stack and PagerDuty; we’ll cover the rotation frequency, response expectations and compensation during the first meeting.
You’ll have room to influence decisions, support from a collaborative team and a pet-friendly office.
