We are looking for a Backend Developer to join a team focused on supplier onboarding, quote management, and platform services. You will work on backend applications that power business-critical processes, developing scalable solutions using Python and C#.
The role combines backend development, API design, system integrations, and algorithmic problem-solving to support commercial and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services in Python and C#
- Build and enhance quote generation, supplier onboarding, and integration solutions
- Implement business logic, routing rules, validation processes, and optimization workflows
- Design and maintain REST APIs, including versioning and error handling
- Integrate external partner systems and data sources
- Refactor and improve existing code for scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Write unit and integration tests and follow software engineering best practices
- Maintain technical documentation and API specifications
- Collaborate with product, commercial, and engineering stakeholders to deliver solutions
Requirements
Must Have
- Strong Python development experience
- Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs
- Solid software engineering practices, including testing, Git, code reviews, and CI/CD
- Ability to work within a mixed Python/C# environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- C#/.NET development experience
- Cloud platform experience (AWS or equivalent)
- Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger, Pydantic, or similar tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and dependency management
- Familiarity with optimization or constraint-solving frameworks
- Background in SaaS, telecom, logistics, or other complex B2B environments
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization
