Full-Stack Engineer (Realtime)

We're a recruitment agency working with a fast-growing iGaming slot studio that is building a new real-time player engagement platform on top of its games. On their behalf we're looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of the platform's real-time engagement layer — and then keep building the wider product.

This is a builder role, not a management role. You'll own delivery across the stack: frontend, backend, real-time and integrations. The team is small and distributed and the CEO owns the product vision, so strong product thinking and good English are essential — you'll talk to the CEO a lot.

Your role

What you'll do:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of a real-time player engagement module and deliver it to production
  • Build across the stack: browser-heavy frontend, backend / APIs, real-time (WebSockets), plus deployment and reliability
  • Make sensible trade-offs and ship production-grade solutions even without a perfect spec
  • Integrate with third-party systems and coordinate with game, UX and art contractors
  • Work directly with the CEO and Head of Game Engineering, proactively shaping the product rather than waiting for tickets

Offer

  • Fully remote — Poland preferred, open globally
  • Employment contract in selected locations, or a B2B contract elsewhere
  • 24 days of paid time off per year
  • Full-time, long-term role (delivery / milestone basis possible for the right person)
  • 3-month probation period
  • A small, senior, fast-moving distributed team where you own the product from zero to launch

Recruitment process

Intro interview (culture + technical fit) → technical deep-dive with the project consultant → final interview with the CEO. No live-coding test — we review your portfolio / GitHub / real work.

Requirements

Must-have

  • Strong full-stack / browser-heavy background with JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Solid ownership of both frontend and backend / APIs
  • Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets and similar)
  • Experience with PixiJS (or a comparable JS 2D rendering library)
  • Product mindset, ownership and independence — you understand the product, ask the right questions and drive decisions yourself
  • Good spoken and written English
  • A track record of owning and shipping a complex product end-to-end (portfolio / GitHub / real code you can show)

Nice to have

  • iGaming experience (operator or provider)
  • Streaming / real-time media experience (WebRTC, LiveKit or similar)
  • Loyalty, gamification, leaderboards or social-competition systems
